Privacy Policy

At Shendo we treat your information the way we'd want ours treated. This policy describes the data we collect when you use the platform —whether you're a business managing its calendar or a client booking an appointment—, what we do with it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It is aligned with Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law 25.326.

Information we collect

Account data: name, email, encrypted password, phone number, and role (owner, professional, receptionist, client). Business data: industry, address, team, services, prices, and schedules. Booking and client data: appointment history, private notes your business stores about each client, preferences, and payments received. Usage data: device, browser, IP, interaction events (pseudonymized with your user_id; not strictly anonymous). We don't request or store sensitive data beyond what's needed to deliver the service.

How we use your information

We use your data to operate the platform, authenticate you, manage bookings, send confirmations and reminders, show business metrics, prevent fraud, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We also use it to improve the product, always in aggregated or pseudonymized form. We never sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.

Manager IA and automated processing

Manager IA analyzes patterns in your calendar —cancellation history, gaps, recurring-client behavior— to suggest actions (request a deposit, offer slots to the waitlist, expand availability). Suggestions are guidance: you always decide. We don't use your client data to train generic models shared with other businesses. If we ever enable that, we'll tell you in advance and it will require explicit consent.

Automated communications: WhatsApp, email, push

We send confirmations, reminders, and notices via email, WhatsApp, and push notifications based on the business configuration and your preferences. If you're a business's client, your phone number is used solely to message you about your bookings. You can opt out of reminders any time by replying STOP or from your account settings.

Payments and financial data

When you collect deposits or service payments through Shendo, payments are processed by Stripe (or the provider we designate). Shendo does not store full card numbers or security codes: that data goes directly to the processor under PCI-DSS standards. We do store payment references (amount, date, last 4 digits, status) for billing and reconciliation.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use three categories of cookies: (a) essential, required to maintain your session and security —you can't disable these without losing functionality—, (b) analytics, to understand which screens are used most and detect bugs, and (c) preferences, to remember language and settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can delete or block cookies from your browser.

Subprocessors

To deliver the service we share the minimum data needed with: Stripe (payment processing), Vercel and cloud infrastructure providers (hosting and storage), transactional email providers, the WhatsApp Business API, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification Service (push notifications), and AI model providers powering Manager IA. We maintain data-processing agreements with each. An up-to-date list is available on request.

Storage, security, and retention

Your data travels encrypted in transit (TLS) and is stored encrypted at rest. We apply role-based access control, audit logs, and regular backups. We retain your data while your account is active. After account closure, we delete or anonymize personal information within 90 days, except where we are legally required to keep it for accounting or fiscal reasons (typically up to 10 years for commercial records in Argentina).

Your rights (Law 25.326)

You have the right to access, correct, update, and delete your personal data and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights from your account settings or by contacting us at the address below. If you believe we haven't responded properly, you may file a complaint with Argentina's Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), the enforcement authority of Law 25.326.

Minors, changes, and contact

Shendo is intended for users 18 and older. If you are a minor, you need authorization from your guardian to create an account. We may update this policy; we'll announce any material change at least 15 days in advance inside the platform.
